Is Going only for paid events?
No. Create free Events for coffee, dinners, game nights and other outings. Add paid tickets or a Funding Goal only when the Event needs money to happen.
What is event fundraising on Going?
A Funding Goal lets Participants contribute toward the cost of making an Event viable. The amount raised, target and deadline stay visible so everyone knows what is needed.
Does Event Chat replace my regular group chat?
It does not have to. Event Chat gives confirmed Participants a focused place for updates, questions, images and decisions tied to one Event.
Can professional organisers use Going?
Yes. Organisers can create ticketed or fundraising Events, set capacity, manage invitations and keep Participants coordinated from one Event surface.
How much does it cost to organise an Event?
Free Events are free to organise. When money is collected, Going shows the complete fee breakdown before checkout so Participants and organisers can make an informed decision.
Are QR tickets and check-in available?
QR tickets and host check-in are coming soon. They are being designed to keep each entry clear, fast and tied to the correct Participant or Guest Pass.
